Rehlko's journey into the power industry began in the wake of World War I, driven by a bold vision and a spirit of innovation. Recognizing the growing need for electricity on farms, the company combined its mastery of cast iron with inventive thinking to introduce the groundbreaking Kohler Automatic Power & Light “power plant” in 1920. From energizing Admiral Byrd’s daring expedition to the South Pole, to lighting up Hollywood and supporting the monumental Hoover Dam, Rehlko has spent over a century pushing boundaries and powering progress.
