Francisco Morocz
Francisco Morocz is the General Manager and a co-founder of Heila Technologies. For the past nine years, he has been focused on developing the technology and executing on the market strategy to enable the widespread deployment of intelligently operated distributed energy resources to ensure a cleaner, more resilient, and more equitable energy ecosystem.
Francisco was Heila’s CEO until the company’s acquisition by Kohler Co. in late 2021. Before Heila, he worked as a project architect and team leader, managing dozens of software developers and testers for the consulting firm Accenture. His clients ranged from federal and state governments to multinational corporations. Francisco received an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at MIT in 2013, with a focus on product design and development. He is a GEM Fellowship alumnus and received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University.
