Sharing the company’s path and progress to a sustainable, energy resilient future

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – July 15, 2025 – Rehlko, formerly Kohler Energy, celebrated the release of its first 2025 Powering Impact Report, highlighting the company’s purpose to create an energy resilient world for a better future. The report demonstrates how Rehlko is a leader in sustainable and resilient energy for customers, communities, and partners by minimizing power disruptions, supporting sustainable energy transitions, and maintaining energy reliability.

“Our Powering Impact strategy focuses us on a path to long-term business value creation that optimizes efficiency and drives energy resilience for our customers, and centers on the needs of the communities where we operate,” said Francis Perrin, chief brand and sustainability officer at Rehlko. “Every day through our focus areas of Operational Excellence, Resilient Products & Services, and Community Engagement we ensure that sustainability is embedded in our approach to tackling complex energy challenges.”

The inaugural report highlights key milestones in Rehlko’s sustainability journey and resiliency leadership. Notable commitments and achievements include:

  • Establishing a goal to reduce combined absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions in Rehlko’s operations by 90% in 2045.

  • Supporting sustainable fuels by showcasing our switch to Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) at the Brest, France site, leading to a 50% reduction in the sites total GHG emissions.

  • Pioneering the first widely deployed renewable fuel, landfill gas through Clarke Energy, a Rehlko division, and helping customers meet their Net Zero transition goals.

  • Lowering customers’ GHG emissions by using more environmentally friendly maintenance procedures through our new Conscious Care program.

  • Launching the market’s first Environmental Product Declaration for the KD SeriesTM K175 generator, providing environmental impact transparency for customers.

  • Developing a collaborative stewardship function to better define and enhance community engagements to drive lasting impact.

  • Reducing the Recordable Incident Rate (RIR) to achieve a 45% improvement and work toward a zero-injury workplace.

“Our inaugural Powering Impact Report documents how we apply our purpose to achieve long-term impact when collaborating with our customers, distributor partners, and global team members,” explained Perrin. “In our first year of being a standalone business, we are redefining our own path forward and have just started our journey. We are proud to have come this far and are excited to drive future impact in our communities and our business.”
